We are one of only two clubs that cater specifically to Apple Mac users, which includes relating technology and equipment, security online, and general knowledge and help with navigating the internet safely. Our Monthly meeting is held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Gracecity Church, 17 Marewa Road, Greenlane at 1pm. We offer a help desk 1 hour prior to our monthly meetings, where you can seek help with your devices or discuss club matters. We offer small group learning sessions run by our more experienced members that are available to tutor. We also offer individual one-on-one sessions which can be arranged to suit both your ability and interests at a time agreed between you and the tutor. Founder members Art Weeds and Douglas Peacock placed an advertisement in a Community newspaper which was received with such great enthusiasm by Mac owners that it was decided to apply for registration as an Incorporated Society which was approved on the 16th February 2001 and Mac Senior Net was born. The first monthly meeting was held in the Highland Park Community Centre and lessons were given in a member's house on borrowed Macs.
